If
you are interested in becoming a VARA Driver, we have put
together some information for you to help get you started.
Below you will find links to all the paper work to assist
you in becoming a VARA member and obtaining your Competition
License. All forms are PDF File format so you may download
and print them and fax them off to the VARA Office.
If you have further questions, please contact one of the following
volunteers below.
Driver eligibility is determined by the Licensing Chairman.
The University of VARA is a great experience
for all. With 2 days of insturction whic
includes classroom sessions,
On track instruction and one on one guidance
from some of VARA's top dirvers and past
class champions.
What a great way to find out if what VARA
is all about. Not only is it a good idea
for new drivers but it also
is a great Christmas or Birthday gift for
your friends or loved ones. Learning about
car control and how to
handle your car under certain conditions
is always a good idea. Come join the fun
at the University of VARA
and find out how much fun you can have.
Drivers
must be a current member of VARA. Drivers
must have a current medical exam form on
file with VARA.
All drivers must possess
a competition license
(VARA accepts Vintage Motor Racing Council
licenses)
The
3-6-9 Rule is a way by which The Vintage
Auto Racing
Association allows novice and experienced
racers to safely
and expediently become a part of the challenging
and exciting
sport of vintage motor sports that VARA
provides.
All
Drivers must have a current Medical Form on
file with the VARA office and Fire and Safety
Crew. This form is to be updated every 2 years.

organization and it's members will expect
from you and your vehicle.
Before
building your car, you should make sure you
understand what is and is NOT acceptable within
VARA. It would be a shame to build your car
and find that it does not fit into one of
VARA's several classes.
If your car is already built, you may want
to go over this to see what, if any changes
may need to be made to your race car.
